Tonight we were finally able to decorate the Christmas tree as a family and that definitely made my night. Christmas is by far my favorite holiday, I love spending time with all our family!!!! The boys had fun and this year they were able to help decorate well I mean some what.. They were't to much into it as much as they were into trying to eat all the candy canes but it was fun. The tree turned out beautiful and I was so happy to finally get it decorated.

Life has been going very well for us this last year and the boys have been doing amazing. In September we bought our first house in Wasilla. Before moving in we remodeled most of it but we’re still in the process of making small improvements here and there. The last few days the wind has been blowing like crazy so we have been trying to stay in doors as much as possible until it dies down. It has been blowing 75 miles per hour and it’s been insanely cold out. The snow hasn’t been falling that much this year as it did last year but we are hoping for another snow fall before Christmas gets here.
In July I finished going to school to get my Certified Nursing Assistant Certification and now I am currently working at a retirement community called Primrose and love it. Nick is still working as a painter but for the last 6 months has been working for a company called Performa Inc as a Forman in the union. He to enjoys his job and hopes to open his own business in a year or so.
The boys are growing like weeds and more rambunctious then ever. At last they are fully potty trained and I am so grateful for that. I know in my letter last year I stated they were doing good at the potty training but we gave up shortly after do to them really not being into it quite yet. So about two months ago we started trying again and they were fully potty trained within two weeks.
The boys are obsessed with anything that has an engine and I do mean anything. All summer they were riding four wheelers, dirt bikes, and harley’s. We recently bought them a little dirt bike and they love it. We also bought a four wheeler so we all can go on rides together as a family. They are very sad that winter has come and they aren’t able to ride their machines till summer. But thankfully we have a snow machine so they can ride that till the snow melts. They’re extremely excited for Christmas to come and to get all their presents. This year will be such a wonderful Christmas for the boys and I am so excited to see them open all their gifts. Lately they have been Grandma’s (Mama) little helpers with everything from cooking dinner, baking cookies, and cleaning. When they are with my parents they are total angels and do as they are told. They love spending as much time with my parents as possible, and mama is their favorite.
Last year when I wrote Brody was our little angel and Ashton was the wild child but this year they have switched roles. They both are wild animals but still mommy’s little angels. Motherhood has been full of surprises but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Merry Christmas to everyone and have
