OUr HALf WAY CArvED PuMpKiNS

We finally half way carved our pumpkins for Halloween 2009. We played with the slim and rubbed it on the boys. Brody was much more into the slim then AShton he even tasted it a few times. Nick put pumpkin seeds and slim all over the boys heads, their facial expressions were priceless. Ashton got very upset when Nick started carving the lid to his pumpkin, so after nick carved it out he handed the carver over to Ash. It was to cute Ashton started trying to imitate his daddy carving the pumpkin! Ashton kept looking up at his dad making sure he was watching him. THen Brody was playing with the other pumpkin dancing around posing for pictures with the lid to mommy's pumpkin half way in his mouth! They had a blast being able to get messy and play with something new and slimy! It was not easy to clean up and in the process babies slipped and fell on the slim twice. Hopefully tomorrow before NIck and I go bowling we are able to finish carving our pumpkins. I cant wait to light them up and put them on the deck! They're gonna be SPOOKY!!!!! So lately I've been noticing Ashton has been posing for pictures alot more lately! I mean Brody does to but i have to catch his smile.. ANd Ashton is always trying to get center stage! IT's so neat watching them blossom with their own individual personalities. WE cant wait to take our little monkeys trick er treating, only 3 more days. My only worry is the boys being scared of scary costumes but hopefully they wont see to many freak shows where ever we go!!!!! TO be continued......

BOys WENT to their FIRST COSTUme PArty

Yesterday was a long day, the boys and i were running non stop. Daddy was sick so he stayed home in bed getting his rest! I dressed the boys up in their costumes, we had a costume party over at Nicole's to go to. At first when we got their the boys were very reserved a little shy and weren't being very social.. But before to long they warmed up and starting being little social butterflies. Nicole's boyfriend Teddy went in the other room to get in his costume, he was the big bad wolf. When

he came out Brody freaked out and latched onto Nicole, i new he wanted mommy so i grabbed him right away trying to comfort him explaining it was just Teddy and he wasn't gonna hurt him. He wasn't feeling it at all he kept crying so i took him in the house. He kept looking around waiting for Teddy to walk through the door... I couldn't help but wonder how Ashton was dealing with seeing a scary costume because usually he would be the one to get scared before his brother... But he did very well, it didnt seem to bother him to bad! EVery time Teddy came near Brody i could just feel his nails dig deeper into my skin....Teddy took his mask off and said "Brody its just me" but you could tell he was still unsure. The boys had a good time with the kids but I could tell they felt over crowded. The time flew by so quick and before i new it we had to leave to go meet Matt Amanda and Kayden. We were all going to a Halloween event at the sportsman complex for kids. So i loaded the boys up, we drove to the house to grab the video camera charger so i could tape them and then raced over to the complex. As soon as i let babies out they started running all over the place due to their sugar high im sure, it was so difficult keeping them both close to mom. Amanda had been there for about 30 minutes already...They said their wasn't much for the little kids to do and their was so many kids all over the place. I knew their was no way i was going to be able to keep up with both my little monkeys by myself. SO i decided we would have to find something else for us to do with daddy next weekend that we would all be able to enjoy together as a family. But before leaving i let the boys burn off some energy climbing some stairs and running from mom! They had a great time running from mw while i chased them! By the time we left my energy was all gone! And we still had more plans to attend to, we had to go home to get ready for dinner over at Jessica's. We were runnin late but we made it some how and had a good time. We ate lots of food and the boys even had sugar cookies with orange frosting. It was so cute Ashton got frosting all over his fingers and got his icky face. He wanted mommy to lick his fingers for him didnt like the frosting all over him. And Brody put his face all in the frosting he wasn't at all afraid to get sticky. We had a good dinner and the boys had a blast with all the little kids.....They didnt want to leave! After dinner the boys had a pajama party to be at so i had to round them up and rush them over to Gia's before to late! They both were so happy to see Aunt Gia with the widest smiles and open arms. They love spending time with Colten Mike and Gia. Then mommy and daddy had a night to spend together and stay up late!!!!! The night ended well and i was proud to get evreything accomplished! Then today i woke up, cleaned, cooked a late breakfast and went to pick up my little rascals. When i got their my boys were so excited to see me giving mom lots of hugs and kisses. I even found out they are saying "love you" now...Last night Gia taught the boys to say it. I couldn't believe my little babies, they are just to cute and so smart! When we got home i fed the boys some snacks, watched some cartoons and played around a little. I laid them down on the kitchen floor and spun them around in circles, they were cracking up so hard and didn't want me to stop. They had a long busy weekend and now my little boys are sleeping like angels! THey both fell asleep on my lap watching tv! GOodnIGHt My loVE bugs, MOMMY LOVES you!!!!!!!

BOys FIRSTS Hair CUT

The boys got there first hair cut OCTOBER 21, 2009 and they did so well. I video taped the whole thing, they were so freaking cute and didnt squirm at all. We tried to cut Ashton's first but right away he started crying for mommy i think he was tired or nervous so Brody went first. And then AShton went second he did very well and stayed calm the hole time. When Nicole started to buzz the back of Brody's hair he kept looking for the buzzer but he was very good about it. Ashton also wanted to know where the buzzer was while she was buzzing him but they both handled it a lot better then i expected they would! I took lots of pictures before and after. I couldnt get them to smile for anything so i took tons of pictures, kept trying to make them smile but it wasnt happening. They were being little butt heads, weren't posing for momma like they usually do! Over all i was very proud of my little men and their hair cuts turned out so cut! She didn't get much hair because its so thin already but she did an awesome job!

MesSy MEssY BoYS

Tonight the boys were being extremely difficult at dinner and made a huge mess. For dinner we had ribs, baked beans, garlic bread and corn on the cob. The boys love corn and destroy it every time. I always just hand them the cob and they eat it so quickly but then of course throw it on the floor. I attempted to feed them beans but they both kept turning their heads and saying "NO" so then i just put beans and ribs on their tray. They ate a little of both but definitely didnt eat as much as i had expected them to. After they were done their was so much food all over the floor and themselves. Im getting tired of cleaning up after them but they arent! Every time they make sure that mom is on the floor scrubbing up their messes and picking food up off the floor! After dinner they were both so messy i just took them straaight to the bath and let them play for a little while! Then lotioned them up and put pajamas on them!!!! WE played with this guost rider poster thats lights up and makes noise.. Its hanging on the front door and the boys crack up whenever it lights up! It's a Halloween decoration that daddy picked out. Usually you would think they'd get scared but no Brody was kissing the poster! It was pretty cute! Then daddy started pushing the boys around in the laundry basket for a bit, they were laughing having a good ole time! When he was finished they werent so mommy took over and gave them both turns spinning them around! They love being spun and dont like it at alll when we stop!!! BUt i cant do that for to long it wears me out pretty quick. So i put a movie on for them in our bedroom. The movie was called Thomas & Friends the boys were laughing, talking to all the trains! It was pretty adorable watching them interact with the their tv friends! But i could tell they were both pretty tired so after about 20 minutes i turned the movie off and laid them down for bed! They both gave me kisses good night like every night, laid down and fell fast to sleep within minutes. We had a good day hopefully tomorrow babies will listen and eat their food instead of sharing it with the floor!

Shopped Till WE Dropped!!!!!

TOday was a busy busy day, we spent most of it in the car or in a store. WE had planned to go to anchorage for a little shopping and then to go swimming at H2oasis with the boys. But our plans got changed due to the timing! At first we were going with Matt, Amanda, and Kayden but they didnt end up leaving Wasilla till around 3pm and we were suppose to meet at 2pm. We left home early to stop at costco first and then go swimming. Since we left early that interfered with the boys getting their afternoon nap and i thought for sure they would fall asleep on the way but didnt. By the time Matt & Amanda left Wasilla the boys started getting very crabby and tired. And when they finally got into town they boys had just fallen asleep. SO Nick and I decided to just shop for everything we needed since we were already their and just rescheduled H2oasis for another time. We were extremely excited to take the kiddos but we wanted them to be well rested and not crabby. I dont know when we'll plan to go again but i hope soon because im certain the boys will have tons of fun this time. We didnt end up leaving Anchorage till about 7pm and didnt get home till 8:30pm with a car full of groceries and more. On the way back Brody was freaking out the whole way. He just kept screaming and wasnt at all happy, nothing would calm him down not even a phone with music playing and that will usually do it. Ashton on the other hand did very well, he was playing with daddy's phone the whole time talking to himself and who ever was on the other line. WE had to stop several times to calm Brody down because he was totally freaking out. He was tired of sitting in the car seat strapped down and i didnt blame him. Nick at one point even jumped in the back seat trying to make him happy! Finally when we got into town he was calm again but the ride felt like it took forever and Nick and I were very aggatated by the time we got home.....But relieved at the same time to be home and able to let babies run wild!!!!!!! THey were also very happy to be home to! We fed them some peaches in their high chairs which i thought they would be pretty hungry but they were both more interested in throwing all the peaches all over the floor and each other. I dont think that will ever stop but i hope it does cuz moms getting tired of cleaning up their sticky messes! Then after daddy left for work the boys and I jumped on the bed and sang songs together. They were having such a good time giggling and bouncing all around. I went to go get a drink of water and all of the sudden they both started screaming. Right away i knew what had happened and ran back into the room. Of course they both had bit each other for the millionth time, so i had to spank their little butts and put them in time out for not playing nice. ITs like they start playing nicely with each other tickling and giving kisses, then all of the sudden they get the urge to bite one another. Those little rascals will never learn.......They stayed up pretty late with mommy, both fell asleep on me watching tv. IT was a long busy day but we got a lot done and it was over all a pretty good day! Well just wanted to update our family blog, goodnight!

The TerrIBLE TWO are COMing FAST

The terribly twos are coming and coming quick!!!!! These last few days i thought maybe boys were just being clingy but then my mom reminded me of the terribly twos. They have been being little brats...Crying just to cry and fighting over every little thing. Brody will act like he wants something to eat i go to give him a bite and if he can't hold onto it he throws a huge fit and runs away crying. And then 5 minutes later comes back for the bite, he's such a stubborn little guy just like his mommy. But so is his brother and they know just how to push my buttons. They pulled out all the dvd's today, they were everywhere. And every time there is a disc in the xbox they eject it and take it out. Right as they do usually i'll catch them but not every time and they have ruined movies before. They kept going back opening and closing it today, so finally i unplugged the darn xbox and put it out of their reach. I can punish them a million times but they always insist on being little butt heads. They both just laugh at me whenever i try to be firm with them and say no. IT's getting harder day by day trying to make them listen to us but i think once we get time out chairs it will work a little better. My boys keep me busy on my toes and totally wear me out, but i love them more everyday!

Yesterday i was calling for Nick and Ashton starting hollering "Nick" running to the back room where he was. Then Brody started hollering and ran right behind his brother after daddy to. Then they both came out laughing and smiling with such a high energy full of nothing but love and happiness. They've been trying to repeat all our words, so we've really been trying hard not to say nasty words. I was changing Ashton's poopy diaper and accidentally said "oh shit" it was so nasty. He tried to repeat me but it sounded more like "shut" close call though. They are to smart for their own good.

Tonight i gave the boys a bath clipped their nails and massaged their little feet! They love getting baths but hate getting their nails clipped and usually freak out flopping all over the place. Surprisingly they did extremely well tonight and allowed me to clip them without having to hold them down. Then after rubbing lotion all over them brushing their teeth and dressing them it was bed time. But before bed time came a bed time story. And we bought them a halloween book the other night so i read that to them and a few nursery rhymes. The book is called Pumpkin Day Pumpkin Night, it was a pretty cute story and the boys loved it. I have to say they love books and always have a hard time when i put them up because they don't like it to end. They are just adorable in every which way, even when they are being brats! Love you BOYS.......And daddy!!!!!! We are going to H2oasis tomorrow i pray boys will enjoy themselves this time and not freak out over the cold water. We have taken them once before but only stayed for 20 minutes because the kiddos were cold and not able to have to much fun. But that was about 6 months ago and they weren't walking yet so im hoping by now they have enough fat on their little bodies to keep them warm. Cant wait its gonna be a lot of fun, love family time!

CLINGY BOYS

My babies have been very clingy these last few days!!!!! Especially yesterday, they wouldn't leave my side for more than a minute. I love that they love me but they have been totally attached to my hip lately! And whenever i leave them to run to the store or even go to the bathroom by myself they cry for me to come back! It makes me feel so quilty but sometimes mommy needs a minute to go pee or run a few errands. I love to take them everywhere with me but they are getting so much bigger and its getting harder to take them with me alone. Especially now that they are walking because they are all over the place and love to run away from mommy. They think its a game and get a kick out of me chasing them all around.

I love my kiddos so very much and am grateful for their good health..EVEN though right now they both have little colds. And have had them for at least 3 weeks now, poor babies! Their is a nasty flu going around right now called the swine flu and thank god we havent gotten it yet. Hopefully we dont have to go through that because i heard its no fun!!!! I mean having any sickness isn't fun but that type is some what dangerous. SO i pray we dont get it!!!!!!

The boys are at home with Grandma Dyana right now, i am sure having a blast with her as usual. I am at work almost all done and ready to go home. It's funny cuz when i get there the boys give me hugs and kisses but they still want their grandma. When she leaves they both freak out just like when i leave! SHe spoils them rotten and they are both her little rascals that are perfect angels in her book! They wear her out and by they end of the day she is totally ready to go home and relax! Because she never sets them down or let them cry.... I telll her its healthy for them to cry sometimes but nope she dont care she runs to their every need and some. I have to say she is the best grandma in the world and they are lucky boys to have her! Just wanted to update my blog, be back in a few days with more to write!

The boys love playing in their new orange toy box!!!! They LOve to get inside a rock back and forth! And whenever one gets in the other wants in! SO tonight i made the boys take turns sharing it! We are working very hard and teaching the boys to share and take turns. They are learning slowly but surely!


Our SOON to BE famous DANCING BABIES
The other day AShton was dancing up a wall in the car. I caught him on phone I recorded him twice, and it made me crack up forever. I will be putting it on my blog as soon as i figure out how to send it to my computer. And i will also be sending it to America's Funniest Home Video's because it was hilarious. He was dancing for at least 45 minutes just laughing and having a good time. His brother on the other hand was very tired and for the first video he was shaking his head back in forth but for the second he was passed out. They both love to dance when they hear music they both start swinging their heads and moving their bodies all around! Unfortuately they still have running noses and coughs but they dont ever let that get in the way of having fun. Although they wont leave me or their dad alone for a second when they arent feeling well, or arent entertained by something. My friend Lorelle is pregnant with twin girls and while she was over here the other day Brody was just loving on her the hole time. He kept pulling up her shirt touching her tummy, giving it kisses and hugs. It was almost like he new their was two babies in their, and they had some kind of connection. It was pretty priceless plus i was able to record him kissing her tummy on my phone. They are so sweet but can go from sweet to fussy in seconds and hate being told NO. I was doing dishes tonight and both the boys were trying to climb in the dishwasher and pull all the dishes out. I dont know why they like everything that isnt their toy but they do. Auntie Michele was about to give babies a bath today when she got Ashton undressed he looked down at his penis and started peeing everywhere. I know im forgeting some things i wanted to blog but i will add on later. There is always something more to talk about in my life and i love every minute of it!

My SuNSHINes MY ONLY SUnSHiNES they MAke ME HAppY WheN SKYS Are GReY

Its so incredible how grown up our little angels are. Today we went shopping, bought the boys their winter jackets, snow pants, and the cutest fuzzy bear hat EVER. The boys were so comfy in their jackets 5 minutes after we got in the car they both fell asleep. To CUTE! This morning daddy said he totally heard Ashton say "i love you" and both boys are saying please, if you say please. But soon enough they will catch on and say please when they want something instead of repeating it. Ashton gave Brody a cracker and Brody said "thank you" they have good manners already and are only 18 months! I am a very proud mommy. Last night for the first time Ashton said "Ashton" I was so excited to finally hear him say that! Then Brody said it and they kept going back and forth repeating it. Ashton has been being very sharing these last fews day. Except for with his toys of course, I dont think either of them will ever want to share those. But we are working on it! Ashton tried giving Brody a cookie yesterday but Brody ran of crying... He wanted cookies from mommy not Ashton and got very upset! All i could do was giggle cuz he was so pitiful. Then grandma Dyana called to tell babies goodnight and give them kisses through the phone. First she talked to Ashton he gave her kisses and said "Bye Bye" then i said "give bubba the phone" and he handed the phone to Brody without a fuss. I was so proud of him for being so nice to his brother. And then Brody gave grandma kisses and said "Bye Bye" and had a hard time giving the phone back to me. He wasnt happy at all and was a little fussy about it. The boys have at least a 50 vocabulary and every day they learn a new word or more. Its amazing to watch them expand their minds and explore new things. We also took them to Hannah's 2nd birthday party at Scoops. My friend Darlene blonde hair cutie. At first the boys were attached to Nick and I, they felt very out of their element. But after about 20 minutes they seemed to warm up and wander around playing. They ate lots of cake and icecream, played with some new kids and with some new toys!!! Ashton kept kissing this huge tiger that was as big as him. And he got hurt at one point but i had no idea what happened. He ran to daddy to get his boo boo kissed, even though we had no idea where it was. After that we went to grandma and grandpas for a little while. Nick and I were helping out my parents while grandma entertained the boys. She played music and they were all dancing around. The boys are literly obsessed with music, every time some comes on they start dancing. They wore grandma out and were acting pretty grumpy because they didnt get a long enough nap! But their favorite person besides mom and dad is grandma, she gives them all the attention they want and need plus some! IT was a good day full of lots of smiles and laughS!

BOwlINg NIght!!!!

Before i talk about our night I was gonna mention this morning when nick got home from work he went to check on the boys. Ashton was in his crib in Brody slept in our bed because fetal position without his diaper on. around 2:30am he had a bad dream. When nick got home Brody was up talking to himself. Auntie Michele was still sleeping on the couch. Then tonight we all had a blast at the bowling alley and the kids wore us out. Nick and I joined a bowling league last week, so we would have something fun to do as a couple. And tonight we didn't have a sitter, so we just took the boys along with us thinking it wouldn't be to bad. It wasn't but babies were full of energy plus some. They kept running all around, attempting to pick up bowling balls, and trying to run out the door. I spun them around in circles and they absolutely loved it. Brody kept throwing himself back so i would spin him some more. Half way into the first game i was already sweating like crazy. Then daddy bought them $14 worth of toys that lit up. And after five minutes they already broke half of them, spoiled little babies! They kept running up and down and all around. I thought for sure they would get tired but they kept going and going. Charlie a good friend of ours let Brody play with his phone, him and Ashton were dancing to the music. Brody wouldn't let go of it, he was talking, dancing, just having a good old time. They were very good for the most part, i mean they through a few fits when they didn't get their way. But over all i was very proud of their behavior.














After we left Kelsey and I went by Target to take a few things back and look around. I bought the boys a orange bucket for their toys and some overalls. When we were in line i asked Kelsey to just take them out to the car and i would be right behind her. She agreed and took them. I came out and was putting our stuff in the car when she asked me if i had Brody. I thought for sure she was joking and said no. Then she asked me again and right then i new she was serious. My heart fell to the floor and at that moment i felt sick to my stomach. I looked in the cart i thought they were in, but he wasn't their. I began to panic. I started looking all around me, when i noticed a cart rolling about 100 yards away from me. And well of course it was Brody I ran as fast as i could, he was so calm and had no idea i about lost him.. The parking lot was very empty or im sure he would of ran into a car, but it really freaked me out. The cart just started rolling and didnt stop till it was stopped. Tonight was an enventful night and we all had a lot of fun! I love family time, even though bowling night is suppose to be mommy and daddy time!
