Camping Trip #2 Montana Creek

NIck & I decided last minute to go camping with a few of our good friends.. Shannon, Brice, their 3 kids, Cole, his 2 kids, and his girlfriend Teresa. WE got a late start because I was covering a shift at work so I was there till 10:30pm. By the time we got to the camp site it was already 12am. Our camp site was right next to the creek and the view was so gorgeous. The spot w away from every one else meaning there wasn't a bunch of campers near, which was really nice.

The boys had a really good time, I think they might of had more fun this weekend then the last!!!!! Because there was more room for them to run wild plus there was no body around us for them to disturb this time. They enjoyed the water and all the kids were throwing rocks into the creek. The boys wore there rain boots and walked in the water with daddy! Ashton Brody and Lyssa entertained them selves by playing in the dirt coloring but not to often and playing with the bigger kids. It was a lot of fun.

We had only planned on staying for one night but we were having so much fun we decided to stay longer. The men went fishing the first night and none of them caught any kings or got any bites. The next night they went out for a bit but it was raining hard them came back after about an hour to drop Cole off and Brice and Nick were gonna go out again! But the boys for some reason were tripping out and I could get them to calm down for me at all! I felt hopeless and like there was nothing i could do to comfort them. SO NIck decided to stay with me and help me get them back to bed! It took some time but finally after an hour or so they fell back to sleep.. In the morning Nick and Brice were planning on going fishing for a little while but they were so exhausted they just slept! When i got up i started packing right away I ended up packing everything all by myself and felt very proud!!!! It's Father's Day so I figured daddy needed to relax and sleep as long as possible. He didn't end up waking up till we pulled in our driveway!

Boys 2nd Boat RIde!!!!

Yesterday the boys and I were invited to go to Finger LAke with a friend of mine and his friends to ride on a boat. We couldn't pass up to opportunity to have a little fun in the sun on the water. The boat was so fast we were gonna go tubing but the water was pretty cold didn't want the boys to trip out. So we will go another day when the water is a little warmer and it's a little hotter outside. THey had such a blast riding on the boat and they didn't want to get off at all. It was a lot of fun riding around on the lake with my baby boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boys First Camping Trip and Boat Ride

The summer has been going so good and it seems like its flying by to fast! I literally haven't blogged in over a month and so much has taken place. I don't even know where to begin but first i will talk about our first camping trip of the year with the boys. We went out to Nancy Lake a little ways past Big Lake with a few friends for the weekend. Liz, Jordon, Amanda, Matt, Kayden, Nick, me and the boys all went. The first night we all hung out around the fire and caught up. We stayed up pretty late playing a game. It was a lot of fun cant remember the name off the top of my head but i definitely need to get it. The boys and Kayden enjoyed themselves playing with toys and mostly digging in the dirt. It seemed like every time i turned around the boys were in Kayden's bubble touching her. She really didn't like it and would freak out anytime they came near her.

The next day Nick me and the boys went down to the water and threw rocks. The boys had a good time then we took them on their first boat ride. They loved it and didn't want to get off. That night it started raining pretty hard & the boys were restless. I think they were done with camping out for sure so at about 11pm we decided to pack up and go home. It was so nice to sleep in my own bed and be warm all night long............It was a good camping trip but next time we need to bring a lot more toys to keep the boys entertained better. And i hope when we go again it will be beautiful out with no rain! I was afraid the boys would get sick but so far they aren't so thats good.
