A Fabulous Day of Fun :)

I have to say today I stayed quite busy to whole entire day. I had a wonderful time spending my day off with my little men. This morning the boys and I got up pretty early we ate breakfast and kickes back watching the movie Madagascar. Then after our movie we got daddy up so he could come outside with us and play in the yard. The boys ran around and road their power wheels. At one point Ashton went straight for my car came about 2 inches from hitting it with his Harley. We let them ride in the road for a little while but as soon as they spotted a tractor they both jumped off their harleys and starting running for it. Yelling "MOtoRCYCLE, MOtorCYCLE." Anything that they no isnt a vehicle they get all excited about. After we finished up playing around the yeard i decided to take the boys to the park to run off a little engery and get some fresh air. I've been trying to get them out of the house to play as much as possible. They need to get out and explore different activities.

They just loved hanging out at the park. We went with Angela and Serena which was a ton of fun. They weren't all into the swings this time which really surprised me but they were loving the slides. They kept going down on their belly's over and over again. Ashton couldnt get enough of one slide he kept going up and down it over and over again till we ended up leaving. They even went on the tire swing for their first time with Serena and loved it. After they got off they both were so dizzy and could hardly keep their balance. Ashton actually did fall over and he was the first to get off. Then Brody got off and i puched Serena till she couldn't hardly anymore. We had a blast playing at the park and the boys had a really good time running wild.

After the park we all went out to lunch at carl's jr. The food was actually not that great and the boys hardly touched their meals. Lately it has been very difficult to get them to eat really anything. It's like we have to bribe them to eat or they won't. I tell them if you want to play eat you food. Or i will say if you want a treat when your finished then eat all your food. It's been very hard lately and gets frustrating at times. I know they are at that picky age but it's been more then picky lately. And not at all easy on me cuz i worry when they aren't getting enough to eat in a day.

After lunch the boys went home for a nap then dinner...At dinner they didnt eat very much and getting them to even take one bite was stressful. Let's just say they took maybe ten bites each of ravioli they usually like and maybe 2 bites of bread. I was trying to get them to eat but almost the whole time they were both throwing fits.

WE finished dinner then Mia and I took the the boys to the wasilla pool to swim!!!! It was fun the boys were a little chilly but they still had a good time. Off and on they would clung to us and get all scared. AT times they were very comfortable with the water and us holding them. They felt a sense of safely, it was a good time. WE only ended up staying half of the time due to babies getting cold and sick of the water. After we were all done Mia and the boys showered then we went to see grandma and papa. Cuz grandma is having surgery tomorrow just wanted to give her lots of love!!!!!!! :) Love you mommy Everything will be just fine< your an incredible mama Ash & Bro love you so much. All for of us love you dearly! Today flew by and we enjoyed the frest air and all the outdoor fun!!!!!!!!!

The boys have been going to bed and Brody he is such a big boy....They both are but when we lay them down to sleep at night. Ashton has been throwing huge fits screaming for mommy and daddy. Brody just chills out and lays down for night night with no noise. He has been doing so well with sleeping in his crib and we are so proud of our big boy! You're learning more and more every day, keep it up mommy loves you and your brother so much.. Just wish he would go to sleep on his own but tonight he didnt cry for more then a few minutes and slept on his crib. So it's definitely improving. Both of you are learning so rapidly in the last few months it seems like everyday your learning more of your shapes, colors, animals, numbers, abc's, and ect. Watching you both just amazes me in so many ways, Im so blessed with to boys whom are my world and more. It was a goood day good night my loves!

Mudd Bogging

Today was such a freaking blast. This morning i had plans to run into anchorage and pick up some car parts so i decided to take the boys with me to give daddy a break. On my way i got a call saying they weren't in yet so instead of going i planned a big day for the boys.

First we went to visit Auntie Gia because they haven't seen her since we left for our vacation. At first they thought for sure i was dropping them off so they both clung to me till they realized i wasn't leaving them. They both gave Gia lots of love, hugs and kisses. It was so cute, we all miss her so much and need to start spending more time with her. We couldn't stay for long because she was baby sitting and it was nap time for all the kiddos. Didn't want the boys to start getting loud and wake any of them up.

After leaving Gia's i decided to go home grab the boys power wheels (Harley's) and take them down to the park to ride them. I didn't realize how wet and muddy it was in some spots, and since i put the hot wheels in the front seat I had no idea how i was gonna get them home without getting my car disgustingly muddy. But it was a lot of fun and the boys were having a good time riding them. Except for some reason Ashton kept getting off and walking through the mud and water. He even fell in the mud and soaked himself from head to toe so bad. It was so nasty his shoes were soaked and so were his pants thank god i had an extra pair to change him into. After he fell i decided it was time to go home and then they could ride them their. I called my girlfriend with a truck and she saved the day. She came down and took the harleys to my house for me so i didn't have to get the car all muddy.

When we got home i woke up daddy and told him to come outside and play with us. I changed the boys into their water boots and different clothes so we could get dirty. WE went outside and played in the yard for a while before daddy came out. As soon as the boys spotted the four wheeler they wanted nothing to do with their hot wheels. They kept saying motorcycle motorcycle but it was of course a four wheeler. And they couldn't ride it right then. So instead of riding it they kept climbing on it yelling at me to take them on a ride. I swear our boys are going to be in the motor cross at this rate. Every day all day all they want to do is go riding. When daddy got outside we decided to take the boys around the neighborhood on their Harley's. It was hilarious both AShton and Brody kept riding off the road onto the trails. They love going down the hills and through the mud. My little boys are little men and they are huge adrenalin junkies already. We road around the neighborhood for a long while and the boys were way mad when we headed home. They had a blast riding around and didnt want it to end.

When we got home we laid the boys down for a nap and then they got up and dad took them on a four wheeler ride finally. They were so excited about going, their little eyes lit up with excitement. THey were gone for at least a half an hour or maybe even longer. I was getting a little nervous, had our neighbor go looking for them.....but of course mommy's anxienty was just getting the best of me. After that ride i thought for sure they wouldnt freak out when he brought them inside. But of course they didnt want to get off the four wheeler and threw a fit.

Everyday for a few weeks now the boys have been watching at least two movies a day. They actually sit down now and watch them. It's so cute watching them grow up into little men instead of babies. Every day they are changing more and more. We are so blessed to have such smart itelligent charming little boys whom mean more to us then words could ever decribe. I'm so lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My BAbies Are TODDLERS!!! Wishin i could Pause the HANDS OF TIME

Our little men are so freaking huge and cuter then ever. We've been doing so many different activities with them and they've been doing extremely well. Yesterday the boys both painted their own pictures. We also took them outside for a little while so they could ride their bikes in the neighborhood. Then later in the day daddy took them on a four wheeler ride and they had so much fun. When he brought them inside they both were so mad and really wanted to stay outside on the four wheeler. We also did numbers and lately ive been trying to do at least one learning activity a day. They love learning new things, I bought them some flash cards with letters and objects. And i also bought them some number flash cards to. Its been very beneficial for them and everyday they learn something new. When we were painting yesterday Brody kept trying to drink his dirty paint water and succeeded a few times. They had such a good time painting their pictures and so did mommy. Some days i wish i could pause the hands of time because i love this age. It's so much fun enteracting with my little guys and watching them grow and learn more each and every day. Soon mommy will be starting school so dad will have to do the activties with them due to mom having to study and keep up with all my school work. Nick has really been helping 70% more then he did when he was working which is a huge relief. It has brought my axienty level down so much to feel like i have the extra help i need to start school. I cant wait to finallly begin my career and take the next step in achieving my goals for the future. And honestly i have been so blessed with such an amazing man and children who are so very important to me.

The boys have been being really good for the most part, although they have their moments for sure. They went in for their two year check up a week ago, they got only one shot which was their hep B. They both did extremely well about it and only cried for a second. Their weight was 29lbs each, they're exactly the same weight as they usually are most visits. The doctor told us they are really doing well and in the 64% ile for weight. He is so impressed with their progress he's very proud of how we've come this far and still not lost it. I'm sure he thought one of us was gonna go crazy having twins but we've managed to keep it together and it's been an incredible journey. I love my little rug rats so much and every day i thank god for what he has blessed me with.


BOYS SECOND HAIR CUT-
A couple days ago the boys got their second hair cut and they did so well. Auntie Nicole cut it again for them and it looks way to cute. They loook like little men and are by far the cutest studs i've seen. Brody got his done first and sat still the whole time, he did perfect. Ashton sat still most the time but towards the end he started moving around a little bit. I kept their hair again and it was so long before getting cut. It was definitely time for them to get them done and they turned out studly. Now they can do their hair like daddy and both look exactly like him. I seriously wish they would stay this age and just stop growing. If they gain anymore weight soon i wont be able to hold them anymore.

EASTER SUNDAY

I love Easter Sunday, it's a day to spend with family and praise the lord. We went to church this morning and it felt so gooood. I haven't been able to go in the last few months due to working Sundays so I'm grateful I'm no longer not able to go. It was a wonderful feeling praising christ on Resurrection day. We attempted to take the boys to the nursery but they weren't having it. We left them for 5 minutes but then they called our number and we had to go get Ashton...Brody was content for a little while but then he wanted Daddy so Nick went and grabbed him. They were not trying to sit still during the service which its hard for anyone to listen with kids talking and stuff. So after an hour and a half i took them to the car to watch a movie, till daddy was done. After church we went back to our house and I made the boys some french toast. When they were all done eating we hid the Easter eggs gave them their baskets with all their goodies. They loved everything in them but then we went on our hunt. THe boys were picking up all the eggs until they saw our neighbor johns four wheeler. They wanted to ride it so bad Brody climbed up on it...But AShton kept picking up all the eggs. We were almost finished when Brody decided to pick some more eggs up. Instead of carrying his basket with him like Ashton he picked the eggs up one by one then carried them to his basket. They were both into it and having a good time. We told them the Easter Bunny laid all the eggs for them to gather. After wards the boys went upstairs and broke some more eggs tried putting the real eggs inside their fake eggs. Then they ate a bunch of their candy before nap time. Brody threw a huge fit because he wanted more but it was nap time so we laid them down and all four of us took a long 3 hour nap!

After our nap we all went out to eat over at our friends Matt, Amanda, and Kayden's house for dinner and desert. Oscar, Kayla, Alex and Serena also came over. It was a wonderful dinner and it was a blast visiting with everyone. Its Oscar and Kayla's last night in Alaska so we were all so happy to spend some time with them before they move to Maui in the morning. The kids were all so occupied with each other we hardly heard a fuss outta them. It was a great Easter and we all had a wonderful day full of fun laughs and smiles. Im so grateful for the three wonderful men in my life and being able to share this day with them was awesome.

Picture LADY/ My POrtrait ParTy

TOday turned out so amazing and i want to thank all my friends for that and my wonderful baby boys!!!!!!!!! I finally had my portrait party that i've been planning for about two months now. It was an incredible day and i loved watching all the little kiddos get their pictures taken. Every single last one of them did so well and i was very impressed. The portrait is for kids only, its similar to a candle light party or jewelry party. What you do is the hostess me invites 8 to 12 people who want to come. I set up times for each family 20 minute sessions the same day we all come in at the times and take our pics. Then a few hours later we all come back mostly moms and pick out the ones we want. Melissa Laggis the Picture Lady takes absolutely incredible pictures and inspires me to do what i love most. She did an amazing job today making sure every mom was satisfied and we all were by far. It was an awesome day for of smiles.

Then after i finally got done with all that at about 10pm Nick the boys and I all went bowling with Oscar. Kayla, Randy, Lydia, Serena, Lyla, and Alex. Not to mention is was neon bowling, the boys have never been to neon bowling so they were loving the colors. We had a good time and both the boys went bowling for their first times. They actually got to bowl instead of watching mommy and daddy on Thursday nights. And they both were loving it laughing playing and trying to run down the lanes. Brody did at one point made it a quarter way before falling then Kayla went after him and they both fell. It was hilarious watching them both hit the floor and neither cried they both got up laughing. SO that was good...I couldnt stop laughing at them. Then both boys kept running down the run way where other people were trying to bowl. Every chance they get they would run for it and they didnt give up either. It was a good time for sure and we al had alot of fun. We will miss you Oscar Kayla and Alex and love you guys more then you'll ever know. <3>

The Boys 1st Time Dying EAster EGGS!!!!

TOnight we went over to my our friend Haeley and David's to have dinner and dye Easter eggs. The boys were totally comfortable the minute we walked in but their two boys were so shy. It was like the boys took over and they were the ones coming over. But after a good hour they both warmed up. Their oldest sons name is Gavin who's 2 and then Alex who's 1. We ate dinner, then started dying eggs but by the time we finally started dying it was getting late. The boys were loving the dye getting it everywhere , i mean my boys. Alex her son wasn't dying them but Gavin was. He was taking his time not ruining all the eggs. My boys on the other hand were grabbing eggs aas fast as they could and throwing them in the cups. I knew they would be messing but i guess i thought they wouldnt be that messy. I was way wrong they kept breaking them,squishing them, the only thing they weren't doing was throwing them. It was frustrating at times because all they wanted to do was break them. At times Nick and I had to take a step back and remember they are only 2 years old. It's like we almost expected them to behave instead of being rambunctious like they usually are. But they weren't they were having a good ole time getting all wet and dyed. Their hands were all sorts of colors by the time we got done and they had the dye all over their shirts. At one point i think Brody even dumped some dye got in all over the table and his dad's shirt. We put some paper towels and papretowels down but even that didnt keep the table dry. It was a lot of fun doing that with them, i cant wait till next year already. We really enjoyed spending time over there I love having play dates with friends.. THat was our first time all the boys actually got to play together, which was a blast for all four of them. Ashton, Gavin, and Brody all kept jumping and running across the bed, even screaming after each other running through the house. THen all four of them were crawling chasing each other, laughing at one another. Then Nick was playing pick a boo while he was outside. Alex and Gavin were both cracking up so hard. It was adorable to watch, they miss their daddy so much. He wasn't there due to having to work out of town but we stiill made sure to take lots of pics and video tape most of it for him to watch! IT was a wonderful night the boys passed out five minutes into the car ride home!
